While completing her BA in Psychology (Colorado College ,2015), Taz lost multiple friends to suicide and to other mental-health-failure-related incidents. After personally struggling with mental wellness for many years Taz was determined to trace the causes of pervasive mental illnesses and discover how a life of balance, security, growth, and purpose may be possible.  

With a BA in Psychology and a professional degree in Data Science and Machine Learning (NYCDSA, 2021) as well as over a decade working in therapy, education, political campaigns, sustainability projects, as well as tech development, Taz strives to maintain a big-picture perspective regarding the intersection of society, culture, industry, ecology, business, and technology. 

Taz has faith that human ingenuity can create a joyful, healthy, balanced social infrastructure, one where ecology is respected and struggling individuals are guided with wisdom and peace to experiences which allow them to find peace, heal, and thrive.

I am an Electrical Engineer by trade, currently designing grid-scale renewable energy projects while transitioning into the fields of regenerative agriculture and landscape rehydration. My passion has always been to nurture the land and help people, and my professional roles allow me to explore these passions from different perspectives.

As a Renewable Energy Engineer, I have honed my ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. This involves translating between technical jargon, mathematical terms, and layperson's language to bridge the gap between engineers, managers, and clients. Over the last five years, I've learned to present intricate ideas in a manner accessible to diverse audiences, an essential skill for my role as Director of Communications. My consulting experience in a large company has given me invaluable insight into working with various personalities and needs, enriching my ability to connect with people across different sectors.

My exploration into regenerative agriculture has introduced me to new team dynamics and communication styles. Engaging with natural systems and intuitive communication in these settings is a refreshing contrast to the technical feedback loops of engineering. This experience has deepened my understanding of human and environmental interactions, enhancing my ability to convey intuitive knowledge to others.

My commitment to integrating health and wellness with natural settings stems from personal experiences. I have found that connecting with nature, both alone and with others, is crucial for mental health and fosters a profound sense of calm, connection, and happiness.
