Research shows that community-based interventions and nature therapy are the most effective solutions to mental illness. Yet how many individuals struggling in isolation? Getting bogged down by overwhelming insurance policies, short and expensive or infrequent therapy sessions, endless paperwork, eventually turning to unhealthy or disassociative coping mechanisms?
That's why CARES.green—Communities Advancing Recovery, Empowerment, Sustainability—is committed to building access to community- and land-based mental health care, by building a one-stop digital space promoting and proliferating sustainable, community-based mental health care initiatives. Our aim is to coordinate the development of a sustainable, abundant, healthy and joyful society.

Our public benefit corporation and 501(c)(3) nonprofit act as two hands to one heart (each with it's five "branches of action"). While differing in tasks and roles they operate in coordination to achieve our mission of promoting and proliferating nature-, community-, and self-connected wellness and health.
